Christine Collier, RN,RYT

Christine Collier is a yoga teacher, registered nurse, all natural novice farmer and mom of four boys.  She took her first yoga class in New York in 2006 and immediately made the resolution to make yoga a part of her “chaotically organized”, yet pleasurable life.  With the instilled “nursing passion” to care and assist in healing others, Christine was drawn to the world of yoga and not only how it benefited herself, but everyone who practiced the ancient art.  Christine's yoga is based on the Iyengar method; however she believes yoga is also a union of integrating personal, physical and mental history, ability, desire and present need.  Her methods are gentle but physically adaptable to all levels and focused on one's natural breath with movement.  She has a deep meditation practice thanks to her teachers, Laura Tyree and JJ Gormley. She is also a student of Reiki master and yoga teacher, Felicia McQuaid. Christine attributes her personal foundational practice and methods of self-care and healing to their teachings and talented therapeutic abilities.

Christine is married to Lee.  Lee and Christine enjoy creating, building and contemplating dreams and ideas for the future of their four beautiful sons.   On any pretty day, you can find them outside enjoying nature, planting gardens or rescuing an animal, sometimes even the odd ones.  Christine and her family recently moved to acreage approximately 40 miles north of Seaside, FL where they have already begun converting their property to a secluded and peaceful yoga retreat and all natural fruit and vegetable farm. Stay tuned for website and blog details on their progress.
