Earl “Bull” Tullock has been practicing the Art of Massage since 1980. After retiring from the United States Air Force, in 2004, he decided to make his lifelong dream, owning his own therapeutic massage practice, a reality. “Massage has come a long way since 1980,” says Bull. “What was once considered just a luxury is now widely recognized for its therapeutic qualities.

Bull is a certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist. It is a thorough program of recovery from acute and chronic pain syndromes which utilizes specific massage techniques and flexibility stretching to eliminate most neuromuscular pain patterns. NMT enhances the function of joints, muscles and biomechanics (movement). It also releases endorphins, the body’s natural pain killers.

Bull is also certified in Orthopedic Massage, a unique multidisciplinary approach to Chronic Pain and Sports Injuries. It involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation, and movement of the soft tissue to reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction.

Bull has also had extensive training in Active Isolated Stretching and Strengthening (AIS) "The Mattes Method". This provides an effective dynamic facilitated stretch of major muscle groups, but more importantly, functional physiological restoration of muscle, tendon, vertebrae, ligaments, and joints.

He has also been thoroughly trained in the application of Kinesio Tex tapping. You may have seen this on the Olympic athletes in the summer 2008 games. It can be used to treat a virtually limitless number of ailments and injuries. It mimics the qualities of human skin and can provide proven, comfortable treatment at any age or condition.

He is also presently pursuing his degree in Athletic Training.

With our continued keen interest in the health and well-being of our clients we also incorporate ETPS (Electro Point Stimulation Therapy) into any sessions where it is deemed necessary. ETPS is a non-invasive therapy applying concentrated, low frequency stimulation to ancient acutherapy points, motor/trigger points and contracted motor bands. This produces an effective and versatile approach to chronic pain management.

We offer relaxation massage.   One way this can be done is with Hot Stone Massage, done by Susan. Hot Stone Massage is a massage technique that dates back to ancient times. The heat from the stones warms and relaxes the muscles, which allows for deep pressure, if desired. The warmth improves circulation and calms the nervous system. It also improves osteoarthritis and arthritis pain. It helps reduce stress, tension, insomnia and depression. Hot Stone Massage is an hour and a half experience of complete relaxation and healing that your mind and body will be ever so grateful for.

We also offer Couples Massage. Two people can get a massage in the same room at the same time. Male and female therapists are available. If you have a friend whose a little bit timid about getting their first massage, this is a great way to get them in and get them started.

Bull, his wife Susan, and their team of Therapists can all be found volunteering their time at the finish line of area road races, be it a 5K, 10K, fundraising walk or all out triathlon, most Saturdays.

Bull is an ex-bodybuilder and Susan, also a licensed Massage Therapist, is a certified Personal Trainer, and former gym owner / fitness columnist.
Between us we have a lot of knowledge and a keen interest in keeping people involved in their healthy and active lifestyles.  Our main focus is on getting people out of pain and functioning again.
